Internship placement requirements
CAP can be completed within course seminars as well as through participation in CAP sponsored activities and events that take place outside of course meetings. Following these guidelines will help you successfully complete the CAP program.
Internship assistance is available for Career Advancement Program participants who meet the following criteria:
You must have successfully completed two semesters of the Academic Accelerator Program to opt-in to CAP. If you have not completed two semesters, you must meet with a Career Advisor to determine if you are eligible to opt-in early.
Meet with a Career Advisor for review and feedback at least twice each term.
Prepare a 21st Century Career Portfolio that may include a resume/CV, cover letter template, career exploration research and content, portfolio of works and class projects, etc.
Explore disciplinary and career related interests and design a personal Career Plan.
