Student Life

KU students will never be hungry, with more than 22 dining locations, hundreds of healthy and affordable menu options and exceptional cuisine for any taste. KU’s three residential dining halls offer “all-you-care-to-eat,” buffet-style meals for every appetite: vegetarian, vegan, meat-eating, halal and more. Our dining services staff will work with you to ensure that your dietary needs are accommodated.

The residential dining halls offer continuous service hours, which allows full access to snacks or complete meals any time of day that best suits your collegiate schedule. And because KU doesn't limit your number of meals per semester like some schools do, you don't have to worry about running out of meals.

Meal Plans

KU Undergraduate Accelerator students will be enrolled in a meal plan, providing dining access 12 months a year, even during school breaks.

Note: All KU pre-sessional and undergraduate students are required to live in a KU International-assigned residence hall and to purchase the meal plan for the length of their Undergraduate Accelerator.

Note: The meal plan is optional to all KU Master's Acceletrator students.

Note: The Unlimited Meal Plan is the only option available during the summer semester; however, students are able to choose a different dining plan for the fall and spring semesters. Students will indicate this choice in their housing contract.
